Jeffrey Herf
Jeffrey Herf is Distinguished University Professor Emeritus of History at the University of Maryland, College Park, and has written extensively on topics such as Nazi ideology, the Holocaust, and the role of antisemitism in both right-wing and left-wing political traditions. His scholarship often focuses on the intersection of political ideology, propaganda, and historical memory in twentieth-century Europe. Among his books are "Three Faces of Antisemitism: Right, Left, and Islamist" (2016), "Undeclared Wars with Israel: East Germany and the West German Far Left", 1967–1989 (2016), and "Nazi Propaganda for the Arab World" (2009).
