Yeshaya Dalsace

Yeshaya Dalsace studied law, earned a degree in Hebrew, and joined the Théâtre National de Chaillot under the guidance of Antoine Vitez, whom he later followed to the Comédie Française. He moved to Israel, where he became a journalist for the French section of Kol Israel. Accepted as a scholarship student to pursue Jewish Studies at the Schechter Institute in Jerusalem, he obtained rabbinic ordination from the Masorti movement. At the same time, he taught Drama at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and directed numerous productions there. In October 2000, he returned to France as the rabbi of the Maayane Or community in Nice. Since 2010, he has been the rabbi of the Masorti community of Eastern Paris, DorVador.
