Sari Nusseibeh
Sari Nusseibeh is a Palestinian professor of philosophy and former president of Al‑Quds University in Jerusalem. Born in 1949 in Damascus, he studied at Oxford University and earned a Ph.D. in Islamic philosophy from Harvard University. He has taught at Birzeit University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, served as the Palestinian National Authority’s representative in Jerusalem, and authored several books on philosophy, politics, and the Israeli‑Palestinian conflict. Nusseibeh has also been involved in initiatives promoting dialogue and peace between Palestinians and Israelis.
